From the Julia Morgan Center for the Arts Lincoln Center Institute program’s 2004 study of art works by the artist Ruth Asawa, study materials prepared by teaching artists Rica Anderson, Dave Maier, Jill Randall and Andi Wong.
Materials include the study's line of inquiry with guiding questions, lesson plans, culminating event flyer, with a transcript from an interview with Ruth Asawa conducted by Wendy Hanamura at the culminating event, “Transforming the Ordinary” held on March 26, 2004 at Rooftop Alternative School in San Francisco.
Rooftop School participated this integrated arts learning program, a
Northern California affiliate program of the Lincoln Center Institute
established by the Julia Morgan Center for the Arts, from 2001 and 2005.
